FATX on a snake

For some reason, I had the urge to understand the inner workings of the FATX filesystem. FATX is used by the original XBOX as well as the XBOX 360. Its a simplified version of FAT16/32, it lacks some redundancies such as second FAT table. One interessting fact is that the partitiontable is stored inside the kernel/system ROM and not on the HDD. I wrote a little python tool wich lets you checkout a partition and import/export files to/from it.
